Module Design
PCS have a modular design, which means they can be combined and expanded as needed, just like building blocks. This design improves the flexibility and scalability of the system, making it easy to customize and upgrade according to project requirements. The modular and string design also brings ease of installation and maintenance. Because the system consists of standardized modules, maintenance personnel can quickly identify and replace faulty modules, reducing system downtime. As energy demand grows, storage systems may need to be expanded. The modular design makes expansion easy, and only more converter modules can be added to achieve system expansion, without large-scale transformation of the existing system.
The power factor can be adjusted arbitrarily
PCS can adjust their power factor to adapt to different grid conditions and load requirements. This means that it can provide reactive power in the full range, achieve reactive power compensation, thereby improving the power quality of the grid, because the energy storage converter can precisely control the output of active and reactive power, it can adapt to a variety of different types of load needs. Whether it is industrial, commercial or residential users, energy storage converters can provide the required power support to ensure the continuity and stability of the power supply.
Intelligent charging and discharging strategy
The PCS is flexible in design and can be adapted to various types of batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries. Different battery models may require different controller software for optimal charge and discharge management, and energy storage converters can intelligently adjust charge and discharge strategies based on grid demand and battery status. This includes constant power or constant current control and corresponding operations during peak and low load periods on the grid.
Charge demand management
Using the difference of peak-valley electricity price, energy storage through valley charging and peak discharge can reduce the cost of electricity for users and save electricity for users.
Backup power supply
Backup power supply Application Scenario When the mains is powered off, the system automatically switches to the off-grid with load mode to ensure that loads do not lose power. In addition, the system supports off-grid black start to ensure emergency load power supply.
Dynamic capacity increase
The energy storage system is used to replace the transformer capacity during peak power consumption, so that users can reduce the cost of transformer use and reduce the cycle of transformer investment expansion.
